Thanks, jamiec! Seriously, that's very cool that you thought of me when that photo op cam up. Having a Hang Glider in it is neat, great pic! I did a little research and apparently that locomotive's a DQ Class. DQ is a fast food restaurant here, that's odd.

Are all the trains in Tasmania very short? I found a few pics of that engine hauling like a 5 car (wagon?) train.

Dcn, most trains in Tasmania have about 30-40 wagons
with 3-4 locos lots of locos for the hills in this place.
i have lots of train pics not many with the Tercel in them
so i followed the train out of town to get some with the
tercel.the motor powerd glider thing was a bonus :D

How did you polish your wheels? i haved the same ones
as mine are in need of tlc.might just paint them as standerd?

I polished them with Meguiar's All Metal Polysh, but really just stripping the paint off and buy any quality metal polish will do. I bought an attachment for my drill made by Mother's, it's like a Nerf ball on a stick and it works great! Hope that helps, They look great in person, well worth doing since they're not overboard 18"s or anything, and they're Toyota wheels. Understated bling I guess. I like that.

You said locos, can I asume you're a train guy too?

Cool shot.. We don't get those big ferns so much on the mainland.. or water anymore

I like that Dark Grey colour. There allways seems to be heaps of Tercels for sale in Tassie. Must be a few around?

That reminds me, I've got to go get a pic of mine blowing a snow drift apart.

Either that or a pic of it driving along my ditch. The ditch is about 3 feet deep and the snow has drifted right across it.
