Vacuum Advance

Post by JOE »

Finally bit the bullet and bought a new vacuum advance for the Tercel.
Went to Pick N Pull and sucked on a dozen or so and all were as bad as mine. Even the wreckers had none. Luckily I can get one at cost, suggested list on them is $285.00, I paid $170.00.

Anyone else have or had this problem, appears to be common. Vancouver parts depot has 6 in stock and they only fit our model vehicle.
1985 4wd 493000kms. Semi-retired since 1990 Corolla SR5 4wd purchase. 174000kms.

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
