The electric fan that runs with AC or Transmision

HI, just asking a simple question.
Under the hood looking straight down on a 1984 Toyota Tercel DXL the electric fan with its own dedicated smaller radiator. Is that for the AC or Transmission?
Just asking because it in the low 90 here in Duluth, MN and I have never seen that fan turn. Checked all the fuses. My AC compressor is not working at the moment.
Any thoughts let me know.

That must be for the A/C. Manual transmissions don't use any kind of trans cooler, and the automatics just run the ATF through the bottom of the radiator.

yup, ac condenser and fan. if your ac doesnt work youll never see it turn on.
