got in a wreck the other day

some lady in a purplish blue '00 new beetle collided with me in the suicide lane

pretty much completely indented her driver side turn signal abumper/bubble area

popped out both my driver side turn signals but no damage to either of them (just popped em back in) bumper is ripped a little though, cant pull it back from under the headlights but oh well

she called the cops hoping to get me at fault even though i had the right of way

i guess i can sympathize a little cause she just bought it and is poor.
but im poor as shit and have poured my life into this car, no reason to make a claim for me though, i have a parts car in the backyard

my first wreck ever, and hopefully the last!

Glad you're not injured !
Don't forget - your time is worth something to transfer the parts - and that is not being avaricious !

Damn! That sucks! Sorry to hear that happened, but at least you are ok, and your car is not completely wrecked. Hopefully the insurance company is ok to deal with and they don't write off your car.
