My spoiled brat of an animal Emma lets me use her name, email, etc. on line. Her full name is: Emma Gene Humpfritter, Emma evolving from her unfortunate given name "Ewok" (looks more like a muppet to me) Gene was chosen by Sarah, my ex-girlfriend (and my reason for being here in Mn to begin with) humpfritter is actually an old Icelandic name. I met a 30-something woman in Iceland that was named after her grandma, I LOVED it and it's lived on ever since.

So there you have it, Emma Gene Humpfritter

Me: Brenton comes from my grandpa (RIP) Netz comes from Germany (obviously)

I thought Arch was an uber-rebel for a while too!!! :)

Dude- What exactly are you pimping? And is anybody buying? Also a tercel is very far from being a pimpmobile. I hope you haven't slammed or donked your T4.

Don't make me come all the way out there and he-bitch manslap you!
Naw lol, I'm just dressing wigger as I drive my T4 at many times and I eventually will pimp my T4 if PCH proves to be a good entry, lol! :D ;) People will buy, you can bet your bottom dollar on that! :) I disagree, you can convert Tercel's into being pimpmobiles, I think I saw a couple good examples at www.cardomain.com... No I have not slammed or donked my T4...Why would you manslap me??? That's not swerd! :D You could, however, come up to my place with some old Mikuni sidedraft PHH40's from a junkyard or something and give them to me persoanlly along with any used manifold, linkage crap hahahaha! :D

Highlander- I live at close to 9000' elevation, on 12.5 acres of rocky Terrain-similar to the highlands (only a little more user friendly), I've got Highlands (Scottish) blood as well (quite watered down by now) and in true Scottish tradition, throw nothing away until 'all of the good in it is gone'. Not to mention the kilt.

My Full name is Actually "Barthelemy" I am the 8th generation of this name, it has been passed down through the generations. So I have an Uncle Bart and my family needed a way to differentiate between us so, Barto is what my mother called me. I used to hate it but it grew on me and now it is what 90% of the people who know me call me. Also used on any interweb forum. :D

ohcanada_00 : I grew up an Army brat around the world. many different states, different countries but the one thing I always had was my dad was originally from Quebec. He was proud of his Canadian heritage so I latched on as well being a kid with no real 'home' as it were. the 00 is for the year I graduated highschool, 2000

I've had the screen name forever it seems like. I remember in 8th grade having ohcanada_00@hotmail.com so use pre-dates that by about a year I would suppose.

It's really not, the spelling is 'Hólmfríður' and it sounds nothing like humpfritter. Phonetically I guess you spell it out sort of like:

Holme-Free-thurr

(th sound should be very soft)

Sources: am Icelandic and my sister's name is Hólmfríður (Fríða)

When I first joined this site I was Turtleman, but I wasn't active enough and got dumped off the far end.
When I rejoined, the site wouldn't let me use the same name :(
Couldn't think of anything in the moment and went with the first thing that popped into my head, really wish I had spent a little more time thinking about it as, in the moment, I had forgotten the original context

Eons ago, at a field party, drinking cheap draught (that kind that is more foam than beer).
Well after too many of those I did one of those little mouth barfs right back into my cup.
I thought it was a pretty smooth maneuver but my buddy saw the whole thing.
He says "MAN, thats GROSS, what the heck do you plan on doing with THAT."
Before I could answer, this goof (Moron, idiot, bully type) comes up to me, grabs my "beer" right out of my hand, drinks it down and walks away laughing his ass off. I think he figured that he just got a free beer out of the deal. (was good to see him finally get his due)
My buddy and I couldn't stop laughing and in that moment he coined the term "Jarf" (Jeff Barf)

Most other sites I am known as Burntboot, but thats a story for another time
(funnier and no where near as gross)

I do remember when DLB first joined up (he was SO green back then) he would use his entire name, every time he made a post.
Being half Scottish I couldn't see the sense in using 16 letters when 3 would do the job just as well.....

embarrassing but true! back then, i didn't care about internet searches and being overly visibly online. after a while, i totally regretted using my full real name. i'm glad chad was able to change my username for me and keep all my old posts.

btw great backstory on the origin of jarf.

btw2, how are you liking your suzuki?

EW Jarf! That's still pretty good, though.

But...did you try hitting it with a hammer?
