"Toyota Terce 4wd Maunal Transmission Disassemble"

i see in the title my brother spelled Manual as Maunal
will have to fix that
there will be an Assemble one very soon
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

you're practically an honorary canuck! even though i'm not much of a classical fan, i actually used to listen to radio 2 a lot as well, but back when it was primarily classical. they changed the format several years ago to include a lot more contemporary pop and rock and since then i rarely listen. i used to LOVE organ thursdays. pipe organs have such a huge, earth-shaking sound. very heavy metal in a way, and probably why i also loved emerson, lake, and palmer's first album so much. lots of killer organ on that record too.

Very nice work there with the video. I have taken apart several non-4x4 trans, and reading the manual only made me shudder at the number of parts and the steps involved in the Tercel4wd transmission. Your video only confirmed it for me. Rebuilding this transmission is not a simple nor fast undertaking.

Those were nice pullers you had there, but I think an arbor press would have worked in all instances. It would not only give the "reach" you did not have for getting the parts off the longer shafts, but would be useful for getting those parts back together as well.

I will refer to this when I finally get around to rebuilding my supply of extra transmissions in my garage.

There were a number of bearings I noticed that were not in the kit I bought, I wonder how durable those are. They were the large two piece needle bearing I think on the main shaft, and those flat needle bearings that go between the bearings. If they are durable and not under much load they are likely safe to reuse, but I have never seen those anywhere before.

Now to find a good source of parts!

i was disappointed at first with all the contemporary but they chopped the news down to 5 minutes so that kind of made up for it
plus i never would have heard of Serena Ryder
