Heh yeah I liked em then. Kinda moved on to a heavier music genre now but I ripped this and their first album (I own both, remember Columbia House?) and I keep them on my phone to this day.

Video is from 1988 or so.

Not a movie so much but watch for the 12 second mark! Also a parked AMC Eagle I think. I bet there were a lot of Tercels in Durango back in the 80's...

I am a fan of railroads, but especially the old Denver and Rio Grande Narrow Gauge that ran through Colorado and New Mexico. The video was posted on the NG forum I visit.

I did a serious triple take when the wagon drove by, I bet there's not many videos of when the wagons were mostly new!

You can tell it is a T4 (SR5 to boot) but oddly the headlights look like those from a FWD.

I'm also a train nut. The line in my avatar to the right is a rail on CN's main line on their Bedford Sub.

so, the Tercel4wd owner was hurrying to cross ahead of the train. Typical.

OT, but Hey! I'm old and retired, so...
Directed to irowiki and dcn...my Grandfather (b. 1870) was an engineer ("driver" in Canada?) from the mid-1890's until he retired in 1935.
He was called back for WWII, but always harrumped because he was regarded as too old for his former mainline duties and was relegated to yard switching here in STL.
He worked for the old Missouri-Pacific (called the MOP), much later bought by the Union Pacific.
He was of the breed that had time on wood burners (very briefly), coal burners, oil burners, and lastly Diesels (the switchers).

That's cool! And "Driver" is a UK thing. We have badass SD90MACs and AC4400s and 13,000 foot DPU trains up here not Euro stuff. It's engineer here too Arch!

Check out Bear breaking into Tercel Wagon. Guy gets a great video of a Brown Bear breaking out the front window for some food. A damn shame because the glass is always a pain to replace...

I was watching Cops tonight and caught the end of segment involving a pursuit on a 4 door Tercel sedan. Did some Google work to find that episode (still not sure which one it was) but I found something slightly better! Meth dude jacked a rear window-less Terc 4WD, which then quit on him in an intersection, attracting the police. He subsequently ran, and following some light baton work, he was placed into a cruiser.

Heheh, yeah. Glad it didn't get any more damaged than it was. I wish there was a better listing of episodes than what I've found so far. I'd like to see the one with the sedan. He was running and hit a police car before being stopped. I'm thinking that it'd kinda go like F-15C's vs a cargo plane if he tried to speed away.

looks like that one may have been rear ended, there is a crease in the side behind the rear wheel, which would also explain the missing rear window.

serves him right, trying to use a tercel as a get-away car! I bet he did not know that they only had 62 hp when they were new! I wonder if he stalled it because he could not drive a manual transmission.

what was the name of that episode? I recall seeing the same one! What happened to the Terc afterwards? Hopefully it wasn't sent to the crusher! :(
