So I just purchased this last week and its currently shipping back to me via enclosed car carrier as not to dirty up this beauty. Got this for my fathers retirement gift, trying to make it as nice as possible for him!

172,000 original miles. Outside cosmetic appearance is about as clean as any of have come across over the past few years.

Manufacturer build date of 12-28-1982
VIN# JT2AL35W3D0016119

This little SR5 does needs one front seat cushion cover repair, needs new floor mats front and back and I would like to replace the gear shifter boot and the 4WD shifter boot.

Any suggestions where I should go to get good floor mats. I cant order OEM as I cant find those anywhere so I need to find used ones or a suggestion for good aftermarket. The interior is the beige/brownish tan combo.

Welcome to the Club!
This car looks just gorgeous!
Location - from where to where? EDIT: I just read your other post ...
Out of curiosity - how much is transcontinental shipping going to cost?
See this link for instructions, photos, patterns, and material sourcing for shifter boots I made: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5074&hilit=boot

Well in regards to freight, I have a bit of an advantage as I work with several shipping companies daily moving heavy equipment across the country for the company I work for, so I got a hefty discount. I chose to ship her back in luxury because of that and am doing so in an enclosed car hauler due to the fact she looks so nice and I want her to get here looking like that. But the standard car hauler quotes I received for an open car hauler to go from NC to WA was between $900 and $1300. I also was searching for hauling just prior to Christmas and New Years so I assume a deal can be found if the shipping window was more normal.

I did see your post about making the shifter boots. Once it gets here I will decided what to do but I did chose to go with customized Lloyd ultimate car mats in black so I think I may go with a black shifter boot and if I do that I have a few new nice black leather TRD boots I think I could affix to the current shifter boot wire frame and install. I also salvaged a 1987 Tercel Wagon rubber shifter boot from a junk yard today. The bottom plate that you bolt down to the floor is a slightly different size but I think I can customize the holes on the rubber boot to work with the current SR5 mounting plate.

I will see how it looks, I have seen the black accents theme work with tan/ beige interior in the past. Can quickly reverse course on the shift boot if it looks bad.
