My car is a Toyota Tercel 1987 4WD 1452CC DX Wagon (AL25RG-ZWFDS). It has a Aisan 14120 carburetor. It is a RHD car.
There is a vacuum diaphragm at the end of the Accelerator Cable Bracket. I couldn't find it at any diagram in the internet. Perhaps the reason is most in the internet are of LHD cars. Accelerator cable come in other way round in the RHD.
Diaphragm linkage is disconnected by the previous user. So I don't know where to connect it either.
A vacuum line comes to it from a VSV.
(Bracket is removed for repair.)
Can anyone tell me what is this vacuum diaphragm at the end of the Throttle Cable Bracket ?

@oldfaithful and @irowiki Thank you all for your valuable answers. They were helpful for me.
Can you tell me where is the Cruise Control Computer is located in a Tercel Car? I am struggling to fund it to get the function.

I can tell you that it isn't cruise control. I have the cruise control assembly and the diaphragm has a cable remote that leads to the carburetor. The diaphragm itself mounts over by the coolant reservoir.

Dear helipilot77,
Sorry, my carburetor is removed for the repair, and this photo was taken from the disassembled bracket. I placed it on a convenient location to take the photo.
Actually it is connected to the carb.

Re: What is this vacuum diaphragm at the end of the Throttle Cable Bracket ?
that looks like the device that keep the throttle from slamming shut. It picks up the throttle at about 1/8 of its travel and just slows the final return to idle. It prevents the emissions from spiking when you let off the throttle suddenly and manifold vacuum spikes. not sure how it is connected in a RHD Tercel, on the LHD it goes on the side opposite the throttle cable bell crank. there is a procedure for adjusting it in the FSM, should the same adjustment procedure LH or RH drive. I usually adjust it by ear, allowing it to return the idle as quickly without getting a drop in idle speed.
you do not really need it if your car drive okay, usually when it is out of adjustment it sometimes causes the engine to die at idle when you let off the throttle like when you come to a stop.
good luck
