New radio issues help!!

Post by skicrosser »

Hi all, new tercel owner. Just bought a 1987 sr5 wagon in Calgary. It came with an old eclipse head unit and i bought a nicer panasonic unit for nothing. I spliced all the wires correctly and capped the ones I didn't know, although i get no power to the unit when turned on. It blew the 15amp fuse in the fuse box so Im confused as to what the problem is. The unit is a panasonic cq-c7205u and was pulled out of a 90's 4runner. Pics of my car actually its my first car!
