Carburator vacuum line jet plastic fittings

As being in the carb. rebuild mode, need to learn what the correct operation and function of the various carb. vacuum line plastic jet fittings and can they be omitted should they be found defective..

this is covered in the FSM under emissions. the different jets act differently but generally i think they either decrease the amount of vacuum going to a device, or delay the initial arrival of vacuum at a device.

Some (the orange ones) only allow vacuum to go one way. Check valves.
