Moving this to the right forum.

Here's some search links centered on Northern New Mexico. I see one in Denver!

4A-LC: (the transverse engine found in the corolla/nova, everything needs swapped over to the long block, maybe even the oil pan)

4A-C: (same as 3A)

There are 3 great yards in Denver. I'll just get one from there. Delete this thread?

One of my parts cars has what "appears" to be a very nice 4A.
The block looks like it is JDM or fresh a rebuild and was just installed!
I do NOT know the history of this car bought it from a tow yard to save it from the crusher!

I'll get some better photos up later

How do I confirm it's a 4a just a valve cover does not tell the whole story?

The tag on the side of the block has AE82 in the middle of it! That would be an FX and 4A is correct for an FX

I decoded the VIN. It belonged to a 1987 Corolla FX.
