Post by irowiki »

I have a Tercel that needs tires but I also have a set of 14 inch rims what size a 14in tire is best?

If you want to keep the same overall height as the stock 175/70 13's, go with a 185/60 14. Personally, I prefer a taller tire (rides better IMO.) On my "good" '87 t4, I'm running new 185/70 14 michelins. My '85 t4 is running (freebie) 195/65 michelins, and my '87 fwd a/t is shod with 195/70 14 off-brand tires (also free.) The 195's rub the front inner wheel wells slightly when going over bumps with the steering at full lock (like pulling into a driveway.) No suspension mods to any of the cars, and all are running Miata daisys. I'd go with the 185/70's. Hope this helps.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
