Stock height with 14" rims

Post by Nwtercel1 »

I shouldn't have a problem getting a set of 14" rims with a more aggressive tires on a stock ride height should I?

I do a lot of driving hunting and on logging roads and want a more reliable tire with better traction then what 13" rims offer.

no problem at all. you buy a wider tire with a lower profile so the rolling dia is about the same. In fact when I went to a Michelin 14" tire with 65 percent aspect ratio, my speedo became more accurate than with stock size tires.

I'm running 195/70's on 14" Miata daisys on my '87 FWD. Slight inner fenderwell tire rub when pulling into driveway with steering at full lock. I'm with you- I hate those puny 13" wheels!
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)
