Beware of computer systems in the new cars

Post by Petros »

here is an interesting TED talk given by a computer security expert who describes how a group of people remotely hacked an ordinary modern car (through the radio), and was able to take over the operation of the whole car, engine, brakes, lights, everything. No more privacy, nor independence when you drive a new car.

Don't forget that autonomous cars are more prone to hacking.
