Hi I'm Fred, thanks for letting me join.
I own a 1985 Toyota Tercel 4WD and i want to learn as much as i can and share what i can as well.

I likewise own an 85' and am enjoying it much. Getting ready to tackle the heater core install this Christmas season.

welcome to the forum!

looks like a nice SR5 with factory "pizza cutter" style wheels. 5 speed plus EL. Tell us how you came to own it, and it's current condition.

Where are you located?
'87 Tercel 4wd SR5 (current engine swap project)
'84 Tercel 4wd (daily driver, with on going mods)
'92 Mazda MPV 4wd (wife's daily driver)
'85 Tercel 4wd DLX auto(daughter's daily driver)
'01 Honda Civic (other daughter's daily driver)

Hey Peter,

Glad to see you got the Mazda back on all 4s. I assume the AT Tercs were badged different? or is there another "tell" I am unaware of?

All SR5's were m/t.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)
