Bulk Purchase of Vacuum line
I have small vacuum leaks in a couple of places and would like to replace all of my vacuum line. I remember reading a thread where another member did the same thing and I think the length of hose was 14'. Is that correct?

I used whatever amount comes in the Prestone packages. The small ones that aren't behind the counter. I still need to do more fuel hoses and I think the PCV hose, plus a slew of o-rings.
But...did you try hitting it with a hammer?

make sure you get the right kind of line. Vac lines should be fuel resistant, as well as fuel lines. Line subject to motor oil need to be designed for that application (like the PVC), and water hoses need to be compatible with the chemicals in antifreeze.
They are not interchangeable, if you mix them up they will swell up and decompose fairly fast.

It takes more fossil fuel resources to produce new vehicles than it would take to maintain and fuel any 70's or 80's vehicle for a million miles.
