Camry all-trac

This forum is for cars that run, or at least are close to running. This isn't for parting out complete cars.

Camry all-trac

Post by helipilot77 »

I always liked these cars. This looks like a decent example. They are getting to be somewhat uncommon. Reasonable price.

Back when those cars were new, I was doing Dealer Exchanges for a local Toyota dealer. Got to drive an AllTrack Camry wagon with a 4cyl manual transmission- REAL nice car. Think it had a sticker price of $13k and change. Also drove a Camry 4S with a v/6 and manual trans. Talk about a sleeper- that thing RAN. Never seen another example of either since...

if it was a wagon I would consider it at that price, I have never seen a camry wagon all trac for sale.

Even so, that is a decent price if you are willing to do some heavy maintenance, and get a pretty good AWD sedan.

According to folks over at TN the Camry Alltrac Station wagon never existed in the US even though I swore I saw one near where we lived. Maybe it was an import.

I saw a Camry all-trac wagon for sale about a year ago. They are about as rare as hens teeth though. The corolla all-trac wagon was much more common and looked nothing like the fwd corolla wagon.

I have been told the all-trac camry wagon exists, but I have never seen one. They did sell a camry wagon, and the camry all-trac in the USA, but I have never seen one.

I have even seen the rare Celica all-trac, but never an camry wagon all-trac. I have owned the corral all-trac wagon, and have seen the corolla all-trac sedan, but I like my Tercel4wd better.
