I don't know. The car has been lightly used for the last 10 years, (only 20k in that time period) I cannot guarantee it will.

if cooling system is in good condition, all wheel bearings run smooth, and transmission is quite, top up all fluids and it should make it no problem. Check for good tires too, more than once I had to buy tires while on the road trip when the old ones started falling apart at highway speeds.

What will leave you stuck is: failed alternator, failed fuel pump, failed component in distributor, bad cooling system (blown head gasket), wrecked transmission, seized wheel bearings. Engine can also blow if allowed to run low on oil.

I have driven a purchased T4wds across the country six or more times, worst that happened was blown head gasket, stuck transmission, and once hit a deer. All times I returned with parts and fixed it where it broke down and completed the journey. Most other minor issues can be fixed along the way. easy to carry extra fuel pump, fan belt, alternator, and distributor assembly as part of your tool kit. Other parts can fail too, but usually will not keep you from getting it home. Head gasket issues are so common (typically after previous owner overheated it) i also carry a head gasket with me on road trips.

High oil consumption can be an issue if you do not keep topping it up, usually a Seafoam flush and oil change with a can of Restore, and STP in the crank case will slow down oil consumption enough to drive it cross country. I once blew an engine that consumed 3 quarts of oil in 100 miles, i did not expect to need to add any before gas fill up.

Bad wheel bearings and cv axle joints can run a long ways before a failure. OTHO I have had them completely seize in 150 miles from first indication of going bad (one time the rear wheel and axle came out of the axle housing on the freeway). so now I carefully check each wheel bearing and CV joint by hand before a long road trip.

Most of this stuff you can check for ahead of time, but you need to plan a few extra days to fix any issues you find. If you have to order parts, depending on where you are in the country, it may take a few days for them to arrive. Common parts like motor oil, filters, spark plugs, etc are always available, even in a small town with only one auto parts store.
