'88 EZ with less than 26K miles! Unbelievably clean, and in Vancouver, WA! 4 speed, no AC - wonder if used as a tow-behind?
currently at $2000, with reserve not met.

Wow is right. That car could last longer than many other brand new cars purchased today. Provided parts are still available for another 30 years...

if you manage to get it and drive it another 30 years I can see your great grand children asking the old man, "gee, people used to actually drive cars like that once?"

Reminds me of this '86 with 75000km:
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/st- ... nFlag=true
Then there's this '85 with 90000km:
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/sas ... nFlag=true
Why did people drive the hell out of the 4wd models, but leave these ones to sit?

i originally found and fell in love with an ‘83 fwd 5-door hatch in pale yellow, but the rust was too much and it was 100 miles away from home.

Re: Not a T2/4WD Wagon, but - WOW!
that one in the add is a great price, it is also the 4wd SR5 model. well worth owning, but realize cars this old, even with relatively low miles, will need to have a lot of parts to replace and keep after. they are reliable, but these cars are approaching 35 years old, things wear out. I have about 400,000 miles on my daily driver, and almost all of the moving parts have been replace twice (bearings, seals, tie rod ends, engine, clutch, trans, mounts, etc), some 4 times (it is on it's forth clutch). so you have to either be handy and replace a lot of the parts yourself, or be prepared to spend a lot replacing old parts that wear out.
