Hello everyone. My daughter is starting college this fall. Her college tuition is forcing me to part ways with my beloved tercel. Members from this forum have seen my wagon's condition. It's a showroom example. I'm attaching pictures here.
I have offers north of $7,000 from folks locally in my area. However, I'm not convinced that they would take care of the wagon as i know this group would ultimately. I would like to know that someone will take care of her as good as i have. The wagon has 97K original miles. The paint still shines, and the interior is immaculate. I'm attaching pictures here. Hi, the photos will not show in pdf format. I have transferred a few through photoshop as jpgs so viewers can get an idea of this car.
The education system in the USA certainly doesn't make it very accessible for people to easily get an education without some major expense and or loans! we have a loans system in Australia which interest rate is keyed to the annual rate of inflation and payments are deducted only whey you reach a certain income threshold.

Unfortunately now it is hard to get any Tercels at all in Australia. Our booming economy, cheap second hand car prices and lack of snow conditions have meant that apart from a few farm hacks I rarely see them on the road or being sold on gumtree they have all been junked as they are unappreciated. That one would probably be worth about $3,000 in Australia due to its condition but I don't believe there are many people who would buy it - being you can get first model Foresters for about $2,000 now.Jonymoto wrote:Mattel, it's amazing that this car is worth US$7,000 over there.
