Looks like '86 or older (nose is anyway.)
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!

funny, the ad is for Idaho, but there is a palm tree in the picture. Not a recent picture perhaps.

someone propped the back of hood up, many think this improves cooling but it does the opposite: the area in front of the windshield is a high pressure area and air is driven into the engine compartment along the back edge of the hood, slowing flow through the radiator. When I worked for Nissan in the late 70's we tested that on on a 280z race car. It is a bad idea, yet it is still a popular "upgrade" presuming to improve cooling.

I think the picture may have been taken on a recent trip to California (mentioned in the add), as for the rest, it's Craig's List, buyer beware.

Perhaps the hood was raised in the rear so that he could fit the weber? I don't if that's why, but it could also be another possibility

It's a heck of a lot easier to reduce the height of the Weber/RedLine air cleaner, which I had to do (even after removing the part of the hood brace over the carb (and this was after using the "short" RL filter).
