My aunt wants a car

Hello gentlemen and ladies my name is Cliff I've been on the forum for quite some time now and on a couple of Tercel wagons . My aunt has recently decided to purchase one herself and asked me if I could help her find one so I decided to come on this website and see if anybody else knew of one that would pass California smog that she would be willing to purchase . She is very adamant about passing the California smog thank you for your time

there is a California forum member trying to sell one that passed emissions, it is in excellent condition and a reasonable price. It is in the San Diego are if I recall, but worth the trip to get a good one like that. It was listed recently in the "for sale" thread.

Just remember, passing smog in california AND not having registration back fees usually entails a very big premium on the price.

Can your aunt work on cars? Knows someone who'd be willing to fiddle with it every year or so to pass emissions?

The link for the car in San Diego area, you might also reach out to Member Bryan Thompson, he checks in here once in a while, but always seems to have more than one Tercel around, and may have connections to others.
