$250 1988 SR5 in Spanaway WA with bad trans

This one has been up for a while but the seller dropped the price. I called him because the cl description isn't great and he said he had a new clutch installed and the guy that did it didn't fill up the gear oil when he was done, lasted about a day before the trans was shot. He said he'd like to sell it to somebody that would give it a good parting out but I told him it'd be great to find a new transmission for it and save that thing. He says it has no rust!! I'm very tempted to try to get it but I'm leaving town tomorrow morning for 3 weeks and don't really have the time tonight to drive down there.

body looks like it has some damage (driver's door). I might have a good trans I could sell for this car if someone wants to save it. I do not have time for it.
