This forum is for cars that run, or at least are close to running. This isn't for parting out complete cars.

Nice '82 sedan $1600 (Vancouver-area, B.C.)

Post by Mark »

http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rch/cto/5457937786.html Strange, Richmond is the same suburb I went to get my '81 Tercel. They must be stashing low km's ones and slowly releasing them on to the market.

Take a look at that old battery!

Such good shape too... if it were closer I might snap that up.

haha, notice 'the club' theft deterrent on the floor. in a 34 yr old econobox. a pristine one, mind you, but an old econobox all the same.

The club was a very 80's thing though might be original.

Back when I lived in the Vancouver-area in the '90's, I remember reading in the news that the most popular vehicle for theft was those late-'70's-early '80's small pickup trucks (Datsun/Nissan/Toyota/Mazda). To be honest, I'd be more worried about my semi-rare early-80's Tercel being stolen off the street in the middle of the night than some generic Ford Focus or whatever that blends in with every other car on the street. Speaking of the club, I actually see people on the ferries around here put the club on their steering wheels while on the ferry as if someone will steal it, drive through all the other parked cars on the deck and drive off across the ocean.
