Home made parts cleaner/deburr

Post by Petros »

I always wanted one of these, looks easy enough to make (I think I have everything I need laying around). Uses kitty litter for the media. there are other DIY youtube videos on the same topic, but this one looks simple.

OMG ! I have one of those identical hand drills, inherited from my Dad! It is in much better condition, however.
"Dunlap" was the lowest tier of Sears tools of the late 1930's until the late 1950's. The highest brand was Craftsman Professional/Industrial and the middle tier was "regular" Craftsman.
However, this Dunlap drill is anything but poor quality. I also have Dad's Dunlap brace and bit.
Have used neither in forever.

This tumbler is on my Winter List.
Props, Peter!
