What a beauty!
Love the front bumper and its lights! Those and the body color bumpers and mirrors really transform the car.
What is the purpose of those "rails" at the edge of the roof?

Re: 1985 4x4 Lifted Wagon
Ooops on me; I did not notice no roof or windshield.
But more likely a late XK-140 or XK-150 because of the orange turn signal and the bumper.
XK-120s had no signal there and a skinny, 2-piece bumper with no overriders.

Re: Need Help / Need Part
You can turn the heat on and off by moving the control valve lever manually. Its under the hood on passenger side fire wall. Disconnect cable and move it towards driverside. I do that every Winter/Spring, as for ? reason my control lever - while it does work - does not move the actual valve all of ...

Re: 80ish mph. Anyone else get er purring?
@ SinusoidalTendencies: But - how are you compensating for the pre-credle secondary damaging waveforms/emanatings which kick in at 82 1/2 MPH? Have you modified the engendered technoprobe of the Aisin carburetor (not many are aware of that component)? I had a problem with that with my then-new '83 ...

Re: Wanted: Seat(s)
" My drivers seat has a big rip in the vinyl, and that is enough to deny me collector car status. " Really! Are cars from the '60s, etc., required to have perfect upholstery? What about pre-WWII vehicles? Seems pretty anal to me. I'd think that must be some sort of ploy to keep the number ...

Re: ISO: "Rain Gutter" roof rack mounts
What Petros wrote! I owned a bike shop for 30 years, and just recently was talking to a best buddie shop owner "from the days," and he said that Saris/Thule/Yakima racks for rain gutters are a dime-a-dozen nowadays, because of the change in car bodies. Naturally, owning a T4WD, I'm set for...

OK - for some reason (old age?) I thought it connected to an compressor. My bad.
Oh, well - I tried to buy the O'Reilly-supplied device, but was just a dollar and time too short; drat!

Yup - removing the heater core was too daunting for me!
I figured I would face that if the core started leaking, which it has not.
