Thanks. I thought you would respond. I have alot of the (only) previous owner's repair records, and he did alot of maintenance. He got the fuel injectors cleaned a few times and changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, wires etc. I'll do the cleaning you suggested since it's free, and I'm still waiting...

This pertains to a corolla, so I put it in off-topic. I want to keep this board focused on AL25 model Tercel wagons which I still uphold as the best car in the world. My problem is, in all it's fuel-injected splendour, my new Corolla with the 4A-FE engine bucks and hesitates at low throttle while cr...

Damn it I just spent $3250 on a Corolla and I still have 2 dead Tercels to figure out what to do with. Otherwise I'd be all over this. There's an easier way to put the tranny on. I did it by myself and I'm a 110 pound stick figure. It's written up on this board. You might want to try it at least to ...

Did you see all the pictures I posted from my JDM brochures? They should still be on the board. If the links are dead it's due to those crap photo sites that only work for a while if you don't pay. My computer and all the pictures stayed with my wife after we broke up. I've still got all these aweso...

I haven't been on those sites for about a year and I doubt those who control them will be available to us. There have been other Russian sites that list parts and there will probably be more. These catalogs are also available on CD, including the Japanese ones that cover our Tercel, from certain Eba...

I wouldn't spend $900 on a centre diff but maybe if there was a used one. What I really want is the 6 speed tranny from those ae115 Sprinter Carib wagons. The blacktop engine that goes with it would really suck gas but I want that tranny. The all-trac has lower ratios than the regular ae92. In fact ...

Yeah, I'm a deserter... I got a 92 Corolla All-Trac SR5 this weekend. It's in very good shape with very little rust and it looks and drives fantastic. It's nice to drive a car that just shifts into every gear - shifting is more just a matter of repositioning the shift lever - and does not need a car...
