my 88 had power steering

this may be another one of those canadian things but my 85 sr5 manual steering tilt wheel has removeable u-joint knuckle on steering shaft and i have a rebuilt knuckle that was in my 88 sr5 no tilt wheel that i replaced the joint in fits right on

was looking over the list and on the steering shaft u-joint my 85 sr5 manual steering, tilt wheel has the removeable u-joint knuckle not fixed to the steering shaft one same as every wagon i have had

a spent about 4 hours on Toyota parts direct looking at trans part break downs trying to match part numbers with the tercel numbers no luck

I had 5 carbs pulled apart all about same amount of crap in them. the gas tanks here all rust out on the top side letting dirt in to them for a few years, filters only get so much of it,the real fine stuff settles out in bowl

I use a 12" pipe wrench on the inner tie rod end to loosen it and a wrench on the rack,

just done mine last week it takes the 14 feet of 5/32 hose

same problem here to the price of scrap skyrocketed a few years back everything in the yards got crushed,the old stuff is gone

i think the hole in the rubbers is beat a bit over sized, make up 2 new tubes bigger on the outside to fit the rubbers and about 1/4" shorter so they will pull up tighter, they look in way better shape then the ones i changed out in my old wagon
