Re: How to lift your Tercel 4wd
Not to completely derail, but does anyone have a second set of front, worn out, 4WD struts they won't miss if I pay shipping? Would love to compare to my factory original '86 suspension... I should have mine, or at least I think I do. I'm not sure of the condition but I'll check as soon as I get of...

Re: Big electrical problem, won't start :(
If it won't do anything at all, there's a single wire with a connecter that goes from the battery to the fuse box. Mine had corroded away and left me stranded at a mechanic shop. Luckily I had some extra wire and electrical tape and fixed it on the spot.

Re: Reworked Tranny Mount
Every time I hear that I think it's real close to me. I always get Waco and hueco confused. I'm pretty close to hueco and waco is quite a distance. Maybe in the summer if I can convince my wife to take a road trip out that way but she's been wanting to go to California to see her family. It would be...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
I figured out the numbers lining up after I was done running the dremel on it. After I had it close to being where it needed to be, I attempted to put that metal piece back on and all of the numbers got messed up big time. Between each number there are black little tabs that rest in between that met...

Re: Unrelated terc question...
Well, when the car was first purchased, it was completely stock. No turbo or anything else. Then he decided to purchase and install one. Hooked something up wrong and took it out to street tune it with a buddy. Something messed up and they put a rod through the block. He then took it to a well known...

Re: Unrelated terc question...
Yes. All 4 chambers are covered in oil. My first thought was the valve stem seals. The intake is really clean, but can all 4 rings go our at the exact same time? Possibly could be the rings as the cylinders are covered in oil and the compression is all the same because of said oil. It would be the e...

Unrelated terc question...
2014 civic su turbo. Oil in the combustion chambers. Replaced the valve stem seals with same results. Compression is 150 across all 4 cylinders reason being aftermarket low compression pistons. Cylinder leak down test resulted in 37% in number 4, 24% in number 3, 20% in number 2 and 24% in number 1....

Re: In need of basket roof rack
I bought this one and it fits my needs. if it'll see rain or snow you may want to dab some extra paint in around the spot welds since they havent been able to "get it in there". otherwise you'll likely start to see some "brown tears" after a few showers http://www.ebay.com/itm/2...
