Re: 1983 Tercel 4WD SR5 Wagon | Overland Build

Topic #1: Remanufactured axles for ancient, obsolete foreign cars are not to be trusted. In the Subaru community, the general consensus is that OEM axles are superior and that every effort should be made to quickly I.D. a torn boot, replace the boot and re-grease the original CV/DOJ. We have had no ...

Re: panhard bar bushing

There is a freeway onramp near my house that enters the freeway in a particularly well-worn section of pavement. I'm often carpooling to go skiing, so we make a quick jog from the RH lane three lanes over into the carpool lane. If you merge over quickly enough the entire Tercel will start rocking si...

I agree that a heim in the Panhard rod is probably a waste of time and effort. Even after new struts and several new bus...

After my experience with Whiteline products and how they've let their quality slip, there is a reason I didn't mention that brand.

How is your beam pattern from the Hella's with led? Everything I've heard is that they don't do as well as the full 360 you get from halogen. I put Hella 80/100 watt bulbs(cheap) in mine and am very happy. Aftermarket LED bulbs installed in a halogen reflector will never have the quality of beam pa...
