But maybe it has something to do with an engine too small to pull that vehicle? Computer controlled vehicles tend to do different things to the mixture when you open the throttle wide....dunno, or it could be gears

Sorry Ludehawk! The whole car was purchased and towed away! I posted that a while back but it probably got lost in the discussions of Subarus and stuff, now that I have hijacked this thread for my own personal gain! heh heh heh If it makes you feel better, I rebuilt the carb but I will still having ...

I've camped at Sterling....three times! It's not my style of camping, but it makes a great place to stop either on the way OUT from Minnesota, or the final push BACK to Minnesota, cuz there are showers, and everytime I go there, we are basically the only ones there. After a week in the car, or a wee...

All I know is, you can't drill a broken tap....

Sometimes, I think to myself..."self....I should just hold the bracket/part/whatever in place, and weld the rest in place."

Of course you could never take it apart again!

Well I am certainly not scared of fixing stuff, so as long as I buy something that isn't falling apart at the seams, like my Tercel I just rid myself of....heh Mostly though I buy things if it is there when I want something, or I happen upon it, or actually for the Tercel, I bought it from a guy at ...

Although they, of course, advise against the drinking of untreated water...regardless of its source...tee hee I had this fantasy once for a pop-up camper in the bed of a compact pickup, that would be good times...then I came up with something even better! My Nissan Pathfinder....suv, if one folds th...

Yeah I won't buy anything until it is down below the 5k mark, and even that is pressing it...every time I have a car that I buy at 6k or thereabouts, by the time I sell it, it is ALWAYS $2000 /year depreciation in value, always, so then I developed this theory that I could beat that system and get $...

Those airstreams are damn cool looking, and I wouldn't be surprised if they still cost a small fortune.... I don't regret selling my trailer, actually, since the only camping I do is with a pack on my back, or with tents out of the trunk of my car....but someday, maybe, when I get old or have a fami...

I just reached in my drawer and grabbed this "swiffer" thing that I always use, and I swear, it's like a new monitor! actually this is the same damn 14" tube I bought back in 1995. It just keeps cranking along, looks like new, and it's not even a real brand.

I'm lookin!!! But I must be honest, I am looking for other vehicles as well....by which I mean, if a reasonable Civic 4wd comes along before a reasonable Tercel comes along, I just might buy the Civic and see how it goes....right now I'm all about the Justy...but I have fallen in love with this 1996...

Well, just so everyone knows, my 84 Tercel is gone gone gone! all gone! Now the driveway is very empty...just the other day some guy walked up to the house and asked about buying my old 1969 or whatever camper trailer...heh a little 13' job, I finally decided he could. So now, lots of room, I should...

I was thinking about that same thing...and I have a hard time believing that in 20 years, people will be like "SWEET a 1988 Buick Skylark!" or something equally crappy and commonplace and lame. But I always see old magazines, with ads in them from the 60s and stuff, just yesterday I saw a ...
