Like its running outta gas
Two of the Tercels I sold to friends are doing the same thing.
They act like they are running out of gas.
One pulls over and after a short wait, takes off and everything's fine for about 20-30 miles.
The other car acts the same but sometimes will go 80-100 miles before doing it.

Re: New brakes same problem
I wiped them off with gasoline to remove the light film. I wire brushed the hubs I will be trying the E brake thing The backing plates for the pads looked good to me (no worse than others that worked fine on other Tercels) I doubt the rotors or drums are the problem since the old ones did the same t...

New brakes same problem
While going down hills and doing some hard braking my car has been doing a shuddering/groaning thing. Yesterday I installed new rotors and pads on front along with new drums and shoes on rear. The old rotors were pretty bad and the drums were worn just past the limits. Shoes and pads were about 3/4 ...

Re: Detailing Thread
I have a 1983 F150
the rubber/felt whatever track the door window slides in has deteriorated and the noise from air is getting annoying
so should i be able to replace that?
is that something a detailer does?
seems like i heard once there are people who will detail a car for a hundred bucks or so?
