The outside of the ring gear is stamped also. Very small but it's there.

Try that shop I sent you the link for. They appreciate older cars and I am sure would be willing to help. Ask them to check if the carb looks gummed up and ask if you can watch so you can learn. Places that don't allow the customers in the back I don't trust. They will throw all this liability crap ...

Drop the assembly out of the ceiling and confirm that you are getting twelve volts to it. The contacts are pretty finicky for the bulbs. The door switches turn on whichever light is selected on 'door'. The rear light is not exclusive to the switch. I can't remember exactly where the contact switch i...

It looks like you have a parts car. Try plugging in another gauge. I have found the needles sticking in the past and tapping on the gauge it usually moves. I believe the green plug is a temp sensor for the primitive computers we have on these cars.
