Re: Quick update
Darn I wish you were close to Seattle. My car came with an extra set of mounted tires in the back of it. Not a whole lot of tread on them, but I'm gonna have to pay to get rid of them.

Re: Pipe & o-ring need replaced?
I think your only option for the pipe would be to find a used replacement in better condition. That is horrible corrosion for a part like that

Re: Use of the word "INCLINOMETER"
Interesting! I guess in nautical language they call it an inclinometer, same as how we refer to it in our Tercels. In aviation we call It an attitude indicator.

The crankshaft pulley bolt on my 1KZ-te turbo diesel is torqued to 360 ft-lbs. the Milwaukee electric impact wrench I have removed it as if it had been hand tightened by a two year old. That thing is a beast!

I'm just curious, but why would you want to convert from power steering to manual steering.

I got a long length of silicon vacuum line in the mail yesterday. So I'm gonna start going through the vacuum system and replace all the lines. Any suggestions before I get started?

Re: Back brakes no fluid getting to them!
Yeah it's almost certainly the portioning valve. I have pulled them apart before to find them so clogged you would think someone had stuffed it full off clay. Often a good cleaning and a seal kit is all it needs.

Re: ISO SR5 Inclinometer
I have inclinometer a in both my tercel and 4Runner. I don't think it would matter functionally about the angle since they both have provisions for calibrating them. However sun glare might be an issue if the lens is at a funny angle.

That donor almost looks to clean to cut up. But I trust your judgment.
