There is a threaded one on top of cylinder 4 for the EGR and a flanged one for the stock O2 sensor!

Only thing I can think of so far, was a small crack in my brass fitting! The only thing I did was to replace my fitting and the 2 filters, I can't see the slightly bigger filter being the cure! Cause it was bubbling before I change the fitting and ran like crap, after with the new fitting no bubblin...

If up and down shakes on the wheel it's a ball joint, if left to right play its the tie rod(inner or outer)! Ask someone to shake the wheel and you can go under and grab on the moving parts too to determine which one! It could be bearings as well but usually noisy a little(winding sound)!

How is the pump? New or reused the old one? Have you tested the flow by disconnecting the line by the carb! Maybe try a clear one to test(replace the hose that goes from pump to carb with a clear one) so you can see a little what is goin on, maybe some bubbling! Check all the connection where there ...

Sometime older cars will do that! Most likely any old vehicles will do that! That's why when someone ask me about the value of a vehicle it's really hard to say cause it's overrated, if you like the vehicle it's worth it! In rallying some use them to put some spare wheels,tools on top! As you not allowed moving objects in the vehicle in case of crash! Personally I prefer bolting a steel box inside my hatch!
