The engine cradel can be lowered a little to compensate for the lift. And because you will probably want to put on larger tires as well you will not lose ground clearance.

4af is gunna be a hard swap. Many minor issues to figure out. Exhaust is a main one as well as the distributer not fitting in the engine compartment. I had to hammer back the firewall and build an engine cradle drop to put in my 5af. The hood also will not fit w/o modification. It is all because of ...

Has anyone played with jettings and settings on these yet if so what are you running?
I am getting ready to tackle this one as I know that my carb is very rich and not set up right at all for my car.
Let me know your experiences.

Thanks for the help. I won't have a problem slamming into stuff because I have an appartment and no covered parking. But I think I will need a way to lock the rack to my car so it doesn't dissapear on me.
Thanks so much I will relay info to my dad.

Well I jst got a mountain bike so I would like to carry that, but, you know lumber, matresses, small children and the occasion unidentified inanimate object.
Pretty much looking for all around utility here. But a good way to mount the new bike is number one.
thanks

Thanks for the heads up on turning off avatars. I think the header is stainless. I don't know, good point I will probably make a sheild if I see it causing problems. I went carb because this motor comes carbed. I didn't want to add any more complexity to the swap. In the near future I will get the c...
