Re: RWD Battle Wagon

more engine progress finally! Got the 7a block back from the machine shop all nice and cleaned up! Cylinders hone, block decked crank polished and everything spec'ed out. Ended up going with stock 7a rods and bigport 4a pistons using press fit wrist pins, shooting for a 10.5-10.7:1 compression. Bloc...

Re: RWD Battle Wagon

Like normal having made tons of progress lately. Family, Church, and Work keep me pretty busy, but was get to get the head and block off to machine shops to get some work done. I took the head to a local toyota guy Dan OST, pro at 4ag heads. Turns out the head needed a ton of work, it was warped and...

Re: RWD Battle Wagon

Hey guys it has been a while, still in progress of building the motor. Petros was right, the geometry on the mr2 spindles in stock form are horrible for the tercel, nothing lines up correctly. I suspected it could be modified but it looks like much more than I wanted to do, so my next plan is to swa...

Keep me posted if you need a hand on something.

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

yes the T50 will work perfectly. Trans mount and driveshaft both fit. I am in the process of converting from PS to manual rack. I will need to figure out proper tie rods next. https://i.imgur.com/TDZNqfI.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VRUhek1.jpg Now this next piece is great news for everyone converting to...

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

THis car is RWD there is no front diff or axles or any of that crap. And I converted to manual rack so there is almost nothing there in the way except the sway bar, but I will be doing some test fitting this weekend.

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

yea I've got an instgram, I probably post here more than there regarding the build https://www.instagram.com/whiteraven358/ I don't have any pictures right now but I did learn that ae86 subframe is not going to work without tons of work that I am not willing to do. But I did find an alternative that...

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

as far as the water pump goes I want to replace it anyways because it is a 3ac water pump and I need a larger 4age one that along with the crank issues I want to replace the whole thing and not deal with it. the CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) is off of a Toyota 4agze engine which comes out of supercharged...

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

Here are the issues we found with the 4age bottom end. Crank Key is marred pretty bad. https://i.imgur.com/L3YoB55.jpg This custom water pump hard pipe will not cut it. It has been heavily rtv'ed. https://i.imgur.com/3LPoWLy.jpg We will be heading to the junkyard soon to find a replacement bottom en...

Re: Battle Wagons I & II feat. 4age rwd wagon

2 steps forward 1 step back. Got some more parts for the 4age only to discover as I have been tearing it down, that the bottom end is a 4ac bottom end and has some oddities I would rather not take a chance on. So im in the process of sourcing a new block. But to show off more parts i have acquired, ...
