Are the front hub assemblies the same as on a front wheel drive model?

Re: Another Seattle AL25 member

Yeah I was looking at those pages in the FSM and it showed where to push on it but it doesn't show how to hold it because at that point the darn brake dust shield is right in the way. Are you saying that I should be able to get it out just by clamping the the hub in the vise and driving it out with ...

Re: Another Seattle AL25 member

This weekend I replaced the front suspension bushings with polyurethane replacements. I then replaced the ball joints. The one on the passenger side was totally hooped! Pretty sure the the passenger wheel bearing is going out too. It's started making noise last week. While I was in there I figured I...

Re: is it possible to turn the tercel into rwd?

You could do it by pinning the transmission in 4wd mode and then disable the front drive maybe by removing the front axle shafts and installing a blank in their place to seal in the oil. Who knows how the transmission would hold up being constantly driven in 4wd drive mode though. Not sure it would ...

Re: Front Drivers Side Window Regulator needed!!!

Yeah I see that now. I'll take a closer look at it tonight. It did have a heavy coat of grease on it. I however don't want to pass on anything that is worn out. I've always wondered if it would be a good idea to build up the material on the teeth with a welder. It should improve the wear characteris...

Re: Alloy rims and tires, Albuquerque, $100

I would love to have those but I think shipping them to seattle might kill it though. If you don't get any interest from anyone else, please check what the cost would be to freight them to 98126. Tire rack ships tires to all of their customers so maybe it won't be too crazy.
