Re: Front Drivers Side Window Regulator needed!!!

Yeah I was thinking of just cutting a new one, but I think welding on them will improve the wear characteristics of the teeth. So I'll give that a try, then reshape them. I might also see if I can find a brass bushing to install around the pinion shaft.

Re: Front Drivers Side Window Regulator needed!!!

Pulled the window regulator apart today to if it is salvageable and what it would need if it was. I started by cleaning it up. http://i1071.photobucket.com/albums/u513/nadiller/all-trac/AD6DEB31-DCD7-43E4-91F2-90B491E1D034.jpg A lot more of the teeth were damaged that I originally thought. Under clo...

Re: Tercel Part blowout! EVERYTHING must go!

I'm still needing a good drivers side window regulator if anyone has one! 4wdEconobox - would you be interested in the drivers side window regulator I have if I repaired the worn teeth? I was thinking about building the material back up with weld. The supply of O.G. regulators is dwindling. I would...

Re: MY 83 WAGON PART OUT

Are the blue seats plaid? Do you have any SR-5 trim for the drivers door? Now that my door is painted I need to put some trim back on it.

Re: Another Seattle AL25 member

Yesterday I removed my front drivers side door and disassembled all of the window and latch components then prepped it for paint. I used the last of the pre mixed 884 rattle can that I ordered from Automotive Touch-Up. Then after letting it cure for 4 hours I re-installed all the components and care...

Re: Door hinge repair

I had to pull my door off this weekend to paint it (finally). And wanted to show that the hinge bolts can be removed without removing the fender.

Re: Rack and Pinion internal play?

I'll be doing this soon as well. My steering started binding up on the way to work (not a very good feeling) I already got the new rack. I also went ahead and got a new pump and pressure lines so I can do the whole thing while I'm in there.

Re: Door hinge repair

The door can be removed without removing the fender. Remove the bolts that hold the door to the hinge this will allow the door to be removed, allowing access to the bolts that hold the hinge to the body.

I had to make several of Toyota Special Service Tools for the 1KZ-te deisel motor I'm rebuilding for my 4Runner. Have the right tool for the job always makes it so much easier.
