I mean I know he said it was for the Acura but I'm trying to find the dimensions for different models and it looks like they're all the exact same thing

Re: LSD Solution

Sorry to revive this thread but what was the exact model of the LSD you used? And are the 4mm measurements exact or just a rough estimate? Since my transmission came with the wrong gear ratio I need to change the gears out in my front end and I'm planning on putting one of these in too. I was gonna ...

Re: The Air Conditioning thread...

The guy said the system blew cold for about 30 seconds and then said the valve was making the pressure surge, told me everything else was working

Re: The Air Conditioning thread...

I also had Midas install the fittings backwards as well. I already bought a new expansion valve and drier but can I assume it was surging because of them trying to fill it through the high side? or would it be safer to just pull the box and change those parts so that I can also blow the dust out of...

Re: The Air Conditioning thread...

Sorry to revive this but I just got my 86 back from Firestone for the 134a conversion and I'm pretty sure they installed the fittings wrong

He said he got the AC blowing cold for about 30 seconds and then "the expansion valve went out because the pressure kept surging"

Re: Pac NW project fun car!

It would be the hard parts to make, intake and exhaust manifolds, wiring harness, coil pack and sensor. It requires space where the AC compressor is for the crank sensor, so if you have your AC you'll have to change that around a bit. It won't include the megasquirt, wideband O2, or the throttles, ...

Re: Repairing that awful fuel sender unit

None of the pictures are showing up in here because I guess they're too old to be maintained I've been having the same issues mentioned in here and I pulled the sending unit out with no issues (no rusted screws, no rust on sender itself, it looks pretty new still) I jumped the connector and the need...

Re: Larry's tercel gets a 20v Black Top

if it is a recent rebuilt, or otherwise good condition 4age, $800 is a fair price. If it is needs to be rebuilt, it is a bit high priced. This engine is not rare, came in several models. it depends what you are after in a swap, there are a lot of issues that have to be resolved to make it fit. It i...

Re: Larry's tercel gets a 20v Black Top

Someone local is selling a silver top 4AGE for $800, is all this effort worth it for the swap? My engine is in good condition and I was thinking about doing a fuel injection conversion on it but the engine swap would be pretty fun too

The exhaust smells a bit rich and when it's warm it keeps trying to stall unless I hold my foot on the gas lightly

factory gas mileage

Did my first in town / highway run on the car and it only lasted me roughly 140 miles before the fuel light came on, which calculates out to 17mpg... that's worse than my 4.2L Jeep gas mileage

Why is that a thing. What should I be looking at replacing
