Thanks Larry.
The header I bought is an eBay SS two piece. We'll see how it fits, if not I'll have to use the factory manifold and get a custom downpipe made.

Re: New member from Portland, OR - '86 Tercel Wagon DLX
Wiring is going in tomorrow. Flywheel is being machined then it's all going back in to get the last few things patched up. Fuel pump installed, misc. wiring, etc.
Once it's all done I will write up the parts I used.

That's what I was thinking. I have an upgraded clutch so that it can handle the new motor setup.

Re: New member from Portland, OR - '86 Tercel Wagon DLX
That will be the interesting part. It has to be all custom.
I've ordered an aftermarket header but apparently it might not clear the steering linkage. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

Yes sir, that was all done.
Will update more this week, hoping to be done by Thursday. Head has been torqued down, motor mostly assembled.

Re: New member from Portland, OR - '86 Tercel Wagon DLX
We swapped the pans because the 4AC pan was different than the 3AC pan. Turns out if's different to clear the diff and axles.
This definitely isn't a traditional 4AGE swap. It's more like a hybrid.
