Re: PARTS FOR SALE ON EBAY

At least it would be a short list. Less than $20, what a deadbeat..

Re: Controller arm is loose or just fine ?

Gap between the rubber or the bolt sleeve inside the rubber?

Tighten to spec and hope the bolt isn't seized to the sleeve or even worse, the "captive" nut in the frame is spinning.

Re: Adding A/C

It is best to keep an R12 system R12. A proper retrofit is rather involved. Some just jam R134 and some oil in. This can work ok, but usually that's on bigger cars with condensers as big as the entire front of a T4, that can deal with a small loss of efficiency. Properly done involves thoroughly flu...

Re: Adding A/C

I thought the drivers side motor mount bracket was different for ac also.

Try to find some R12 for it for best performance.

Re: Recent Snowstorm

Wow, send some my way! After yesterdays first ride, I almost have as many miles on the scooter as my current snowmobiling season total. 58 and sunny forecast Friday. Winter came in with a bang here this time but sure has fizzled.

Re: And it shot fire from its hole and strained and

Your crank bolt wasn't tight. The keyway is only for positioning. Clamping force keeps the gear from turning on the crank nose.

Re: And it shot fire from its hole and strained and

#3 always seems to be the trouble maker..

Skip the platinums and replace as needed. When T4 #1 started to foul #3, I just did plugs once a year. Cheap and easy..

Re: Wiper blade recommendation.

Gets harder and harder to find wipers with screw on mounts. The push on ones do like to fall off. I usually go cheap/replace often on blades. Our first winter blast I saw a "guy" pulled over and it looked like he was calling someone for help. The problem- a flipped wiper blade! Send help!!!

Re: Thermal imager!

Yes dlb! I found that the exposed blocks at the top of the foundation were letting a fair amount of heat out. In this pic you can also see wall studs, siding overlap, and an upstairs heat duct above and left of the window. IMGT0104.PNG . It was kind of creepy seeing all the recent animal tracks in t...

Re: factory gas mileage

Sometimes, a Weber is a bolt on 7-8mpg. Pays for itself mighty quick at that rate..

Try plugs first. If I'm putting lots of miles on, I do them once a year(old turds). Don't bother with platinums.
