Re: OE Front Suspension Bushings, Coil Insulator, & Ball Joints
I am wondering if there is anyone who has sourced these bushings in the recent past. These sources listed don't seem to have any stock anymore.

A stuck thermostat will not cause pressure to increase in the cooling system. Pressure is controlled by the cap.

The big question is, did Canada Post lose it or crush it in their sorters...Sent it over a week ago.

Re: Tercel back on the road
Nice job Simon, Love the scoops. Does it go faster now? Can you include more pictures and details for the winch? Love that idea. I did some floor and frame repair this summer on my winter car. There was some serious rot. Turned out better than I expected. What I did to prevent any fires was to spray...

Re: The IceHawk!
Thanks Splatterdog. That's more information than I had before. I don't move around much when I'm fishing so wouldn't be drilling many holes and the ice doesn't get very thick where I am. If I burn out my old drill I will upgrade, but it would be fun to get out there. Also, would only use a 6" d...

Re: The IceHawk!
Great video Splatterdog. Love your creativity! I would like to get an ice auger that will run on a cordless drill. I have a Dewalt 18v 1/2" drill, nothing fancy but not brushless. I was told you need brushless regardless but would like to know why. I've read about various reasons why but would ...

Re: wanted: dash light brightness knob
Measure the diameter of the shaft on your Corolla. If the Tercel's is too small maybe you can drill it out slightly under size. I should have a spare free for shipping.

That's quite the laundry list of things you had to repair. They are quirky little vans. I hope you get enough use out of it to make your efforts worthwhile.

Re: water pump to heater core flow direction?
I had one car that very little heat inside and it turned out to be an easy fix. One of the cables that flips a lever down by the drivers' feet didn't move a flap all the way. A quick readjustment and lots of heat.
