Years ago, I bought a six-point (rather than the more common 12 point) socket just for this job. No problems since.

Just pull up the handbrake lever inside the car, and you should be able to see the switch for the light just to the right of the sector gear. Good luck!

Nordical25- Yep- red car next to your Tercel is an R8. Also, I forgot to mention, I've also had a bunch of LeCars (R5s.) Never had a R5 Turbo tho- too cheap! Head lights and front sidemarkers are the same on FWD and 4WD. Only the grille is different (but interchangeable.)

Welcome aboard! My guess is a previous owner replaced the defective double-pump reservoir (or coolant overflow bottle- they're riveted together) with an assembly that only had front wiper/washers. You should also have a disconnected 2-conductor plug nearby. In what part of the world are you located?

David- I have a chain wrench I wrap around the crank pulley (after taping a section of old fan belt around the pulley to keep the chain from marring the pulley grooves) to keep the engine from rotating while I tighten the crank bolt.
