Some more collectible than others. Like most things vintage, provenance and documentation of an unmolested original specimen would be more likely to hold value in the collector market.

I had the same problem with cold starts on both my 86 dlx and 86 SR5, even with fresh tune ups (cap, rotor, plugs, and wires) the heat riser hose and a freshly rebuilt carb. So far, 25 around town, 28 highway, but I do have a mild cam, and it's not an actual Weber, it's a Chinese Empi. Had a Weber on the last car, it did slightly better and held a tune longer.
