Re: Woohoo!

Chris - impressive work, but I DO NOT LIKE JACKSTANDS ON CONCRETE BLOCKS!
Better to put them on stacked 2"x12"s!

I see you have taken pity on probably the last surviving Ford Maverick in Missouri! Was it one that was produced at the Claycomo plant here?

Re: Mostly parting out a 86 DX (wisconsin)

How about DS front o/s door handle complete - must have intact blue plastic hook-thingie.
Mine is worn enough that I can only open the door from the very "back" of the handle and is getting even more iffy.
Thanks - I am in St. Louis.

Re: Road Trip! T4wd Recovery for North of 64

Just to throw a story into this thread my dad drove his 800,000km + Tercel from here in Nova Scotia to BC and back a couple years ago. For anyone who might not know, that's across Canada and back... For us Yankees unfamiliar with km's - that 800Kkm is just shy of 498K miles! And he still had to dri...

Canadian Tercel With Wooden Rear Suspension!

Fortunately, it was not a T4WD! http://www.thedrive.com/news/9211/canadian-man-fined-for-driving-toyota-tercel-with-wooden-suspension However - ol1lazhewgqibb9t62lh.jpg - check out the arm in the pix! Note that this is much more sophisticated and, actually, pretty clever. I guess it was oakay? Tom M.

Bryan -
GOOD thing you do not have a bean-counter to rein you in (I guess?)!
I had one, but that ended 36 years ago ... *

* Of course, she feels the same way, and that is OK with me (well, minus a few expletives  ...)

Re: 87 tercel seattle

Welcome! For emission tubing routing, since it is (apparently) a non-CA car - look in the Repair Guides Forum for a color-coded map I did some years ago. Also - when filling the trans/diff - look at the guides and make sure the filler plugs can be removed before draining the trans/diff ! Also - d/l ...

Re: Road Trip! Anyone on the way?

Peter - out of curiosity - have you had any contact with Ron Blauchut's widow in the last few years? As I recall, they lived in Lake George NY - near the VT border, quite a ways North of NYC.
Did she ever say what happened to the Econoline or the T4WD?

Nothing in FSM or specs at back of FSM on it. Maybe call a Toy dealer - however, see following from Village Toy parts page (same key used for many purposes): #13521A KEY (FOR CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR); KEY (FOR OIL PUMP DRIVE SPLINE); KEY , CRANKSHAFT(FOR CRANKSHAFT PULLEY SET); KEY , WOODRUFF(FOR CAM...
