I should also add that I have the transaxle/front diff (whatever you want to call it) part as well, but the bell housing has a crack in it, the innards are still good though. would include free of charge if you so desire.

Manual Transmission & Alloy Wheels For Sale
Hey folks, Having returned to Ontario after abandoning my poor broken Tercel in Terrace BC. I am now without 4wd wagon, but still have some parts I pulled from my first Turtle. I have a Manual trans from my 1985 Tercel, with 200 000 km on it (124 000 miles ). The transmission was working just fine w...

Tercel Died, need another one urgently!
Hey all, Today my Terc died via rusty frame rail separation on the way up a potholed road to the mountain. I really need another vehicle as my girlfriend needs it for work. I am located in Terrace BC and am willing to travel to pick up the car, but I need a quick turn around time (ie: dont have much...

Corolla Brake Upgrade Spacer Tech Drawing.
I had these spacers cut at a local shop for $20 bucks (10 gauge steel is approx 4mm, so...perfect!) I figured I would pass along the technical drawings I used to get the shop to cut it. enjoy.

Re: Light rumble at low speed.
That is an interesting thought about all seasons, I typically hear the opposite, my thoughts were that the softer rubber was the most important factor (because of the lower winter temperatures) anyways, looks like you are in Washinton, so you certainly know a thing or two about snow! Im headed to no...

Light rumble at low speed.
Hey there, I am leaving tomorrow for a long road trip across the US, and have a problem. At low speed (maybe 5-10 mph) there is a vibration (frictional) somewhere in the front end, it happens regardless of brake use, just seems to happen when the car gets to that 'sweet spot'. I should mention that ...

Re: Installing Block Heater
So I got the Zerostart freeze plug type (around $30.00) and hammered the old freeze plug out with a long flathead screwdriver (I had to displace the fusebox and remove the battery to get a more direct line of attack). I then grabbed the freeze plug (now stuck inside the engine block, spun sideways) ...

Re: Strange Sound From Within
Yeah, I used less than 100ml of ATF, and a little dish soap (as instructed) any chance this carbon could damage the valves on its way out? Also, when I was changing the timing belt I had the number 1 plug out and looked inside with a flashlight, the cylinder head was covered in a fairly thick coatin...

Strange Sound From Within
Hey there, So yesterday I decarboned my engine using Takza's method of water and atf. I drove the car around to clear out the carbon (it worked just fine) , then let it sit overnight. This afternoon I started the car and walked around to get something from in the house, when I heard a strange noise ...
