Thought of something to add to the gas mileage threads, that I haven't read yet on this board: windshield wipers Somebody on the Volvo group said they get two mpg better when they remove theirs. I saw a Pontiac minivan the other day, and the license plate was on the rear hatch..but then I noticed (for the first time) that there was this long oval shape on the rear bumper...the perfect size and shape for a euro-plate! and I was amazed! That's good planning to make it ready to export like tha...

.........doesn't take faith...just a strong right foot. I was thinking more along the lines of a tiny light vehicle getting pulled around by a trailer much larger and heavier than tow-vehicle...blah! Like, yer driving, and a gust of wind pushes the trailer around...which yanks the Tercel around and...

I don't think ~I~ would be very comfortable using a 2250 lb vehicle to tow a dual-axle trailer with a car on it...I'd be waiting for a gust of wind to blow the trailer off a bridge or something, heh

Hmm that thing looks interesting! hmm But if you don't want to buy anything, and you can get at both sides of the metal, you can prevent burnthrough by placing a chunk of brass or copper on the backside of your weld area...I've done that and the brass/copper absorbs the heat of the weld, and contain...

kinda like the "two door vs four door" debate seen on other forums, at any given time? or "locker vs lsd" or "independant vs solid" or "auto vs stick"
heh everyone has their own thing I guess...otherwise it would get pretty boring I suppose

I found my auto mask for like $70, I think...US dollars, I know harborfreight has them too, mine has the solar panels in it so I don't have to replace batteries, but as a result, since I hardly ever use it, I have to store it on top of my drill press so it has the florescent light shining on it all ...

Did you get an automatic mask too? I finally did and that makes all the difference in the world, at least when you suck like me

One time on a Mazda there was a pinhole leak in the plastic top, it would spray water out like a sprinkler! it was cool...but it had to be fixed, so I used some of that putty that says "gas tank and radiator repair" it is black, with a white center, or something, and you knead it until it ...
